The Lincoln Christian Crusaders battled the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on the varsity football gridiron at the Wesleyan University field. LCS won 65-14. The winner of this annual contest takes home the Spirit Sword.
The LCS varsity football team had perhaps its best season to date in 2013, earning a 7-1 regular season record and a #2 seed in the Nebraska class C-1 playoffs.
