The Lincoln Christian Crusaders battled the Falls City Tigers on the varsity football gridiron at Lincoln High's Beechner Field. This was the final regular season game, and the 100th game that head coach Matt Farup had coached at LCS. LCS won the game 49-28.

The LCS varsity football team had perhaps its best season to date in 2013, earning a 7-1 regular season record and a #2 seed in the Nebraska class C-1 playoffs.
