Some weeks ago, we replaced the ancient refrigerator in our basement with a newer, more efficient model. The old one has been sitting in our garage since then, waiting to be hauled off to the recycler.

I just love the style of old things, so I couldn't let this box out of my garage without playing with it and my camera for a few hours.

This is the rear, inside wall of the white fridge with its old, paint-splattered (I don't want to know how) light bulb. All of these shots were balanced for daylight and lit with one or two speedlights gelled with different colors.
